Sheryl Renee, coming to New York City, the entertainment capital of the world, was a foregone conclusion for this 2nd generation professional entertainer & entrepreneur from Colorado. In 2011 with her daughters now adults, she relocated and hit the ground running, launching her business Sheryl Renee Ceremony Vocals. She has enjoyed collaborations with several popular NYC producers, Eric Frazier Quartet, Rome Neal's Banana Puddin' Jazz, Hal Prince Music & with pianist Lafayette Harris. In February of 2012, Sheryl was honored to perform with the Brooklyn Philharmonic. Her Salute to Lady Day was well received and is on the burner for another run in 2012. On the Entrepreneurial side, she embarked on yet a new direction, when her nightlife review was published in the Beacon &
Caribbean Life. Sheryl redesigned a Brooklyn landmark with stunning results, and is providing marketing & promotion for several NYC artists. Truly living the words "The sky is the limit!"
Sheryl's love and passion for song and stage are evident in her relaxed nature on stage and rapport with the audience. She has shared the stage with some of the best musicians in the world and has the ability to cover most styles of music with her 3-octave range. A vocal impressionist, she awes audiences with her ability to cover most vocal legends and powerhouses, female & male!
As a self-employed entrepreneur for 30 years, Sheryl is fearless in her pursuit of her dreams and business opportunities. Her entrepreneurial spirit has led her into several business ventures, which all center around her passions, including a Child Safety Crusade, Black Swan Talent & Production, which she co-owned with 3 industry experts, the Black Swan Private Event Space. Her company, SR Productions, umbrellas her music, interior re-design and marketing & promotions business.
